Excellent holiday house for wonderful family vacation
June 2017Coming from Southern Germany for the first time to the South of Great Britain, this excellently equipped holiday house in Camber was the perfect place for a one week family holiday: The house was nice and clean and it provided everything we needed, from washing machine , TV and dryer up to toys our little boy could play with. The welcome by owner Chis was overwhelmingly gentle and warm and they even provided a welcome package with bread, eggs, milk and butter and homeade jam and cookies to make us feel comfortable. The house is located in a calm street very close to the beach and also provides parking spaces in front of the house and I especially liked the aesthetic way of decoration in the house with carefully arranged accessories and beautiful pictures. Camber itself is a nice little town, close to the historically interesting town of Rye. The beach is very beautiful, with fine and clean sand, where we could spend beach days like we would not have expected them to be possible in England. Next to that, the region was historically very interesting with old castles and historic towns to visit. This will not be the last time we visit this place!
Relaxing and fun stay in lovely, child friendly, seaside oasis.
June 2017Looney Dunes was a mini gem. From booking, to arrival, through our stay and up to our departure, Chris and Jenny couldn’t have done more to make it a wonderful experience. The house is lovely, set up perfectly with so much care and attention given to the extra details. You can literally walk in and be perfectly at home. (Aided by super tasty homemade cookies from their son! And home made jam. Mmmm). The sitting room photo doesn’t do it justice – it has a large sofa which is super comfy. The kitchen was small but perfectly equipped and the bedrooms were lovely – light and comfy. We loved the different places to be, as a family, in the house – the conservatory, the lounge and the well tended garden (with table and chairs and lots of extra equipment). The location is amazing for the beach, 2 mins walk. Rye is 10 mins drive and is lovely in its own right and with lots of good restaurants and cafes. Although we were a family of 4 with 2 under fives, we would happily go on our own, or with grown friends. The house is perfect for 4 adults (and 2 kids) and there really is enough in the area to keep everyone with all tastes happy beyond the beachside in Camber. Thanks to our hosts for a lovely stay. We will be back.
Fantastic property, really close to the beach.
April 2017Spent an amazing extended weekend at this property, and what an excellent place to stay, it’s close to the beach, extremely well-equipped and the owners really made a huge effort to ensure we had a great time. Their attention to detail just kept surprising us! I cannot recommend this place enough for its location, how well equipped it is and the wonderful owners, Chris and Jenny. I wouldn’t think twice about booking this place again, and in fact, seriously considering it for the summer!

June 2017Our family loved staying here and felt so very welcome. From the home baked cookies when we arrived to the vast array of toys, games, books and things to do provide by Chris and Jenny it made the weekend a treat. A fabulous property with a great well maintained garden and only minutes from the beach we had a great time. Can’t wait to come again!
Perfect spot, home from home
May 2017Chris communicated clearly, was very friendly and made us feel very welcome. The location couldn’t be better! Tucked away in a quiet cul de sac and the dunes literally around the corner. The house was spotless, beds were comfy, it was fully equipped and there were lots of thoughtful little extras such as milk in fridge, fresh bread, butter, fruit and even yummy biscuits made by Chris and Jenny’s son. We loved our stay and hope to return soon.
We had a very pleasant and relaxed weekend at your house. The variety and quality of games, music, dvds, your welcome pack, the honesty box and everything you’ve made available, is brilliant. Was fun introducing our 2 year old to Snap and he loved the ‘Cars’ dvd. The location of the house is perfect. Though much too close to all the great food options for my waistline! The beds and bunks are very comfortable and we slept very well indeed. And lastly this is definitely the fastest broadband I’ve experienced in a while 🙂

Stayed for 3 nights, lovely warm welcome. Really nice touch that you showed us around. Very impressed with the lovely and thoughtful supplies that you left us, and also the honesty cupboard. Your house is in a really great location, very central to the beach and foody places. The house has been perfect for our stay, nice and quiet too.
Superb holiday home – something for everyone!
April 2017This house had everything- books and games for kids and grown ups, lovely rooms and conservatory, situated in a quiet cul-de-sac, but close enough to walk to beach, pub, restaurant or Holiday park. It is very close to a lovely beach with golden sands that go on for miles. The owners are lovely and made us very welcome. Their attention to detail was superb and we will definitely be returning! Thank you.

May 2017Great location, 5mins walk from beach. Inside of house is very well maintained with a considerate welcome pack and a considerable supply of provisions in the honesty larder plus tons of toys, books records to stay busy. The strong wifi all over the house was the icing on the cake.
